FAQ

What is Floral Preservation?

Floral Preservation is the process of removing all moisture from florals and greenery.

How long does it take?

The complete process of preserving your florals and greenery to reconstructing/color correction (if applicable), designing, and frame sealing will take 6-9 months.

Do you color correct the florals and greenery?

Yes, we color correct *most* florals and greenery. Color correction is done on a case by case basis and is up to the discretion of Amaranthine Florals. Some florals and greenery may be color corrected, while others may not. Due to fragility of florals/greenery, or inability to retain color.

Will the colors of my florals and greenery fade?

Yes. It is a normal part of the aging process for florals and greenery to lose their colors and fade over time. Although we do color enhance our "Artist Frames" which will help counteract the look of color fading.

Do you use all the florals and greenery from my bouquet?

No. All the florals and greenery from your live bouquet will not be used. This is due to some florals preserving better than others, sometimes bouquets do not arrive in the best condition and some florals/greenery are unable to be preserved, some florals are not able to be preserved due to their shape, size, or moisture content, and sometimes florals/greenery will not make it through the preservation process. We will choose the best florals/greenery to preserve and use in your finished piece.

Do I get to choose the design of my pressed frame or resin block?

No. Amaranthine Florals has full creative liberty when it comes to the design process of pressed frames and floral capsules. We try to design your frame or capsule to resemble your live bouquet. If you would like a specific orientation for your frame (i.e. verticle or horizontal) please let us know and this is something we can accomodate.

How soon do I need to deliver my bouquet to you?

ASAP. The sooner you deliver your bouquet to us the better! We recommend no later than 5 days after your event. The better condition your florals arrive to us, the better they will preserve.

How do I get my bouquet to you?

You will need to either ship your bouquet to our studio through the mail, or coordinate a drop off.
